Returns and exchanges are accepted at our discretion. Requests for return or exchange must be made within seven days of delivery. Please note that shipping costs, custom goods, international orders, and bulk orders are non-refundable. Rough Luck is not responsible for return shipping costs. Order cancellations will only be honored if the request is submitted in writing within 24 hours of the order being placed.
In the rare event that an item is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately without discarding the packaging.
Like most small lighting shops, our fixtures are not UL listed. We recommend consulting a licensed electrician familiar with your local electrical codes before using or installing any new light fixture. By purchasing these products, customer agrees that the seller's maximum liability in the event of damage to person or property is the monetary value of the product purchased from us.
As with life, be gentle. Don't use any harsh chemicals. If left untouched, brass will darken and develop a patina with age. If you feel the need to brighten your brass to it's original hue, you can use a gentle metal polish. I recommend a product called Brasso, which can be found at your local hardware store.

Well, okay! My fixtures are made form solid brass brass that is not lacquered. The brass is polished by hand, and then covered in a thin layer of artisanal microcrystalline wax (Theres a $10 word for ya). This leaves the fixture with a deep, matte luster.
